Alternative Medicine Services
Unlike most corporate onsite clinics, we offer you diverse alternative therapies including acupuncture, chiropractic care, physical therapy and sports medicine. Our physicians work together with these practitioners to create a coordinated treatment plan just for you.
To help you or a family member deal with personal, financial, family or legal issues, we offer confidential onsite EAP Counselling to offer support.
Achieving your personal health goals just got easier too with our onsite coaching and counseling services. You can visit the coach/couselor virtually with a video visit.

"Medical illness, emotional distress, and situational factors can upset our balance in life, which is why I view problems in living through a holistic lens. Plato once said, “the part can never be well unless the whole is well.” We are all products of our environment, our experiences, our internal voice, and biological predispositions. I incorporate cultural competence and a patient-centered approach to help patients optimize their health and wellness. Utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness, I help patients identify problematic thinking patterns, explore deeply held belief systems that may be contributing to stress, and promote self-growth through exploration."
More about you:
Before coming aboard LifeConnections I worked for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) serving veterans struggling with Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder. I also worked in a variety of settings with veterans, including the ER, medical units and primary care. My specialty at the VA was treating complex older veterans with cognitive disorders and co-morbid medical and mental health conditions. I also worked with families and caregivers of veterans from all eras.
During my free time I love to read, especially classics, anything on history, politics or culture. I enjoy art, movies, sports, music and exercise. I also love to cook and bake while listening to music.

Your thoughts on practicing at the LifeConnections Health Center
Creating a safe environment where you feel heard, supported and understood is an essential goal in my work with clients. I enjoy the process of learning about people and what brings them into CISCO’s EAP office. In our work together, clients develop understanding and gain insight into the difficulty they face as well as make healthy changes that help them feel and function better. I use mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic interventions among others to help people meet their counseling goals. As an EAP Counselor, my work is strengths-based and solution-focused.
